The China Initiative, a Harvard School of Public Health program, is making significant advances in China’s public healthcare system. Through specialized training for senior health officials, policy forums on health issues facing the Chinese population, and applied research for new medical discoveries, they are helping to reshape the future of healthcare in China.
The Zhongshan Young Volunteers Association is a dedicated group of individuals devoted to serving the community. Together these volunteers work to enrich the lives of others, from children to the elderly. Through social outreach programs, they promote art appreciation and environmental awareness, and raise funds for instructional materials and deserving students.
The Soong Ching Ling Foundation was founded in memory of China’s late Honorary President, also known as Madame Sun Yat–sen (1893-1981). In the tradition of Soong Ching Ling, who dedicated her life to the enrichment of children and promoting unity, the organization funds scholarships, health and educational programs, recreational activities, and centers of learning throughout China.

The Two Ten Footwear Foundation - Shoepeople Helping Shoepeople, is an organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of families in the footwear industry. Comprised of members throughout the shoe industry, the organization was established to provide services and support to those in need.
The China Welfare Fund for the Handicapped is dedicated to empowering China’s disabled. Through medical care, services, and training, they help those with disabilities gain the independence they need for a happy, self-sufficient life. The organization also works to improve job opportunities for the handicapped and to raise awareness about the achievements of the disabled in Chinese society.
Funds from this year’s FACE will also help children born with cleft lips, cleft palates, and other facial deformities receive life-changing surgeries. Special donations will also be made to individual children who suffer from multiple disabilities.
